Alan Moore BA BComm MBA AITI Chartered Tax Adviser is widely known for his regular articles in The Sunday Business Post. He has 34 years’ experience in taxation, 13 of these with Revenue, in the areas of VAT, Capital Acquisitions Tax, Income Tax, Corporation Tax and Capital Gains Tax. See more

A former inspector of taxes and Council Member of the Irish Tax Institute, he was consultant to the Revenue Commissioners on the drafting of the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997. He is managing director of Taxworld and principal of Alan Moore Tax Consultants where he provides a wide range of tax consultations, specialising in advising private clients.

James Caron BA LLB QFA FLIA MIIPM, has 24 years' experience in Financial Services, during which time he spent 8 years with Standard Life, latterly as Pensions Development Manager, moving to Ulster Bank Wealth in 2007 as Associate Director. In August 2012 James joined Lucas Financial Consulting who specialise in Retirement Planning, Investments, Business and Family Protection. See more
