CGT losses transfer between husband and wife.

i am aware that CGT lossed current year or carried forward can be set sideways husband to Wife etc.

However if husband is non resident,,, and two seperate tax returns are being submitted..

Can the husbands CGT losses on UK,, Irish or other foreign assets .. be offset against the Wifes gains on UK Irish or other foreign assets.

Or can only CGT losses incurred by the Husband on assets that would have been taxable in Ireland if a gain was made,,, be offset against Wifes gains.
