Alan, Client claimed favourite nephew relief on lands inherited from late uncle say 3 years ago (approx 30 acres). Client didn't qualify for Agricultural Relief. Client has been approached by Neighbour who wants to buy 8 acres ... I cant find anything in legislation to suggest client would be exposed to clawback if they sells the 8 acres, can you confirm? There would be an obvious clawback of Agricultural Relief if AR was claimed and land sold within 6 years but we are talking about Favoured Nephew as opposed to AR. Thank you.
