Question asked:

Hi Alan, My client is an electronic engineer who trades through his limited liability company here in Ireland. However, in the past six months his work has taken him to Holland to work. When he returns to Ireland approximately every 2 to 3 weeks, he hires a car in Dublin airport and returns it when he is departing for Holland. (1) Can his company claim the cost of the car hire which he(as co. director) uses when he comes back to Irl? (2) His company pays for his accommodation (B & B) in Holland: Can his company claim this cost as an expense? (3) Given that he is working in Holland, can his company also claim €55.00 per day subsistence as a cost?
