Question asked:

Alan, Client aged 56 received redundancy package from Eircom. He will be living off this for the next few years until he can receive an Eircom pension at age 60. He has a small holding of land and will buy and sell approximately 20 cattle each year. He says he is unlikely to have an income from this that will result in a tax liability. Can he get some sort of letter from Revenue confirming that he does not have to make an income tax return?? Thanks John
