Question asked:

we are a limited comany, business is farming and racehorse training/buying and selling store horses. The company has purchased 2 residental properies to renovate and let out. The 99% shareholding director is also the director of a construction comany. The builder on one of the properties has registered himself as the principal contractor and is invoicing me at a vat rate of 13.5%, is this correct?, I thought there may be as issue with the connected party. If so, what have to do? Many Thanks
