Section 4 ensures that existing orders, regulations, and actions made under older customs laws remain valid when those older laws are replaced by corresponding provisions of the Customs Act 2015.

• Any order or regulation made under a repealed customs enactment continues to have effect under the corresponding new provision of this Act.
• This applies from the commencement day appointed under section 1 of the Act.
• Items treated as if they were made or done under the old law are equally preserved under the new law.
• This is a standard legal continuity mechanism designed to ensure no gap or uncertainty arises when old laws are replaced.
