Expenses

Section 7 deals with how the costs of administering the Succession Act 1965 are funded.

  • The Minister responsible for the Act may incur expenses in administering it.
  • Such expenses must be approved by the Minister for Finance.
  • Approved expenses are paid from public funds provided by the Oireachtas (the Irish parliament).
  • The Minister for Finance controls the extent of expenditure that may be sanctioned.
