Future Ireland Fund and Infrastructure, Climate and Nature Fund

Section 108D provides a full stamp duty exemption for instruments transferring property or assets to investment vehicles of the Future Ireland Fund and the Infrastructure, Climate and Nature Fund where the Minister for Finance is the sole beneficial owner.

  • No stamp duty is chargeable under any Heading in Schedule 1 on qualifying instruments.
  • The exemption applies to sales, transfers, leases, or other dispositions of property, assets or documentation.
  • The transfer must be to a relevant Fund investment vehicle within the meaning of section 32 of the Future Ireland Fund and Infrastructure, Climate and Nature Fund Act 2024.
  • The Minister for Finance must be the sole beneficial owner of the investment vehicle.
