Other committees

Section 20 empowers the Board of the National Automatic Enrolment Retirement Savings Authority to establish committees to assist it in carrying out its functions.

• The Board may set up any committees it considers appropriate and delegate functions of the Authority or the Board to them.
• Each committee must include at least some Board members, and the chairperson of each committee must be a Board member.
• The Board sets each committee's terms of reference, can dissolve any committee, and can remove committee members for stated reasons.
• Committee actions generally require Board confirmation, unless the Board decides otherwise or the committee's sole role is advisory.
