Entitlement to pension

Section 124 previously set out the entitlement conditions for a particular pension but has been repealed by the Social Welfare (Bereaved Partner's Pension and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2025.

  • Section 124 dealt with entitlement to a pension under the Social Welfare Consolidation Act 2005.
  • The section has been fully repealed and is no longer in force.
  • The repeal was effected by section 7 of the Social Welfare (Bereaved Partner's Pension and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2025.
  • Any entitlements previously governed by this section are now addressed under the replacement provisions introduced by the 2025 Act.
