Amount of early childcare supplement

Section 223B set out how the amount of the early childcare supplement was calculated, including quarterly payment rates and adjustments for partial quarters. This section has been repealed.

• Section 223B established the monetary amount of the early childcare supplement payable to qualifying families with young children.
• The supplement was paid on a quarterly basis, with the annual amount divided into four equal instalments.
• Where a child became eligible or ceased to be eligible part-way through a quarter, the payment was adjusted proportionally.
