Transfer of pension rights to EC institutions scheme

Section 8A, which dealt with the transfer of pension rights to EC institutions, has been repealed.

  • Section 8A was originally inserted by the Social Welfare and Pensions Act 2008.
  • It provided for the transfer of pension rights to European Community institution schemes.
  • It was subsequently amended by the Social Welfare and Pensions Act 2014.
  • The section has now been fully repealed and is no longer in operation.
