Prescribed relative allowance

Section 183 previously provided for a prescribed relative allowance but has been repealed.

  • Section 183 dealt with the prescribed relative allowance under the Social Welfare Consolidation Act 2005.
  • The section was repealed by the Social Welfare, Pensions and Civil Registration Act 2018, section 16(d).
  • The prescribed relative allowance is no longer available under this provision.
  • Any entitlements previously governed by this section are no longer operative.
