Regulations

Section 220A deals with the power to make regulations requiring employers to provide information to the Minister for the purpose of determining entitlement to child benefit.

• Regulations may be made compelling employers to supply information to the Minister.
• The Minister decides what information is required.
• The purpose of the information request is to determine entitlement to child benefit.
• The obligation on the employer arises only where regulations are made to that effect.
