Rehabilitation

Section 94 authorises the Minister to contribute towards rehabilitation services for persons receiving disablement benefit, with such contributions funded from the Social Insurance Fund.

  • The Minister may contribute towards rehabilitation services for those entitled to disablement benefit.
  • Any such contribution requires the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.
  • Rehabilitation services include vocational training, job placement assistance, and provision of equipment for disabled persons.
  • All contributions are paid from the Social Insurance Fund.
