Recipient of benefit or allowance to transfer to competent authority payments under order of court

Section 358 previously dealt with the obligation on social welfare recipients to transfer payments to a competent authority where directed by a court order. This section has been repealed.

• Section 358 originally required certain social welfare recipients to redirect payments to a competent authority pursuant to a court order.
• The section was repealed by the Social Welfare and Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2024, section 7.
• No obligations or entitlements currently arise under this section.
• Any historical court orders made under this section may be subject to transitional provisions in the 2024 Act.
