Taking account of illness benefit and invalidity pension in assessing certain damages

Section 286 previously dealt with the requirement to take into account illness benefit and invalidity pension payments when assessing damages in certain legal proceedings. This section has been repealed.

  • The provision ensured that social welfare payments received by a claimant were considered in personal injury or similar compensation assessments
