Entitlement to early childcare supplement

Section 223A previously set out the entitlement to the early childcare supplement, but this section has been repealed and is no longer in force.

  • Section 223A was introduced by the Social Welfare Law Reform and Pensions Act 2006 to provide an early childcare supplement.
  • The section was amended in 2008 and 2009, including changes under the Financial Emergency Measures in the Public Interest Act 2009.
  • The section was repealed by the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2010.
  • No entitlement to the early childcare supplement arises under this section following its repeal.
