Interpretation

Section 344, which previously provided interpretation provisions, has been repealed.

  • Section 344 originally provided definitions and interpretation rules for the relevant Part of the Act.
  • The section was repealed by the Social Welfare and Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2024, section 7.
  • Any definitions or interpretive provisions previously contained in this section no longer have legal effect.
  • Practitioners should refer to the 2024 amending Act for any transitional or replacement provisions that may apply.
