Entitlement to prescribed relative allowance

Section 184 formerly set out the entitlement conditions for the prescribed relative allowance, but this section has been repealed and is no longer in force.

• Section 184 previously governed the prescribed relative allowance, a payment linked to caring for certain social welfare recipients.
• The section was amended by the Social Welfare and Pensions Act 2007 and again by the Social Welfare, Pensions and Civil Registration Act 2018.
• The section has been repealed and no longer has legal effect.
• Any entitlements previously arising under this section are now addressed through other provisions of social welfare legislation.
