Increase of disablement pension where constant attendance needed

Section 78 provides for an additional weekly payment where a person receiving a disablement pension requires constant attendance due to their disability.

• The increase applies only where the disablement assessment is 50% or more
• The beneficiary must require constant attendance as a result of their loss of faculty
• The weekly increase amount is set out in Part 4 of Schedule 2
• No increase is payable during periods of in-patient hospital treatment
