Companies Act 2014 section 1308

Notice of delivery to be published in CRO Gazette

Section 1308 requires the Registrar to publish notice in the CRO Gazette when documents relating to external companies with branches in the State are delivered.

  • When any document is delivered to the Registrar under this Chapter, notice of that delivery must be published in the CRO Gazette.
  • The Registrar must publish this notice within 21 days of the date the document was delivered.
  • This requirement applies to external companies (i.e. companies incorporated outside Ireland) that have established a branch in the State.
  • The obligation stems from the Branch Disclosure Regulations 1993 (S.I. 395 of 1993), which require public notification of filings made by external companies.
