Annual report and provision of information to Minister

Section 962 deals with the Company Law Review Group's obligation to produce an annual report on its activities and to provide information to the Minister on request.

  • The Review Group must submit its annual report to the Minister within 3 months of each year end, and the Minister must lay copies before each House of the Oireachtas within 2 months of receiving it.
  • The Minister determines the format and content requirements of the annual report.
  • The Review Group must, if requested by the Minister, provide a report on matters concerning its own functions or activities.
  • The Review Group must also report on any matter the Minister refers to it for advice.
