Regulations to remove difficulties

Section 558ZAJ grants the Minister the power to make regulations to resolve any practical difficulties that arise in bringing the rescue process provisions for small and micro companies into operation.

  • The Minister may make regulations to remove any difficulty arising from bringing any provision of this Part into operation or from the operation of any such provision
  • Regulations may modify administrative or procedural matters, including time periods for giving notice, so far as necessary to make the provisions work in practice
  • No regulations may be made under this section more than 2 years after the relevant provision came into operation
  • Any proposed regulations must be laid in draft before both Houses of the Oireachtas and approved by resolution of each House before they can be made
