Interpretation (Chapter 2)

Section 799 defines key terms used in Chapter 2 relating to disclosure orders and clarifies what is meant by references to share capital throughout the chapter.

  • A "disclosure order" is an order made by the court under section 800.

  • References to "share capital" or "relevant share capital" mean only share capital that carries voting rights at a general meeting in all circumstances.
