Membership of Review Group

Section 960 deals with the appointment, remuneration, resignation, and termination of members of the Company Law Review Group.

  • The Minister appoints all members of the Review Group and designates one member as chairperson.
  • Members' remuneration and expense allowances are set by the Minister with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.
  • A member may resign at any time by writing to the Minister, and the Minister may terminate any member's appointment for stated reasons.
  • Any appointments made before this section came into force continue to be valid on their original terms.
