Section 391 requires statutory auditors to report to the company's members on all statutory financial statements presented during the auditors' period of appointment.

  • Statutory auditors must prepare a report addressed to the members of the company.
  • The report must follow the prescribed format set out in section 336 of the Companies Act 2014.
  • The report must cover all statutory financial statements laid before the members during the auditors' tenure.
  • This obligation applies throughout the entire period the auditors hold office, not just for a single set of accounts.
