Publication of notices

Section 33 requires the Registrar of Companies to publish notices in the CRO Gazette when certain key company documents and particulars are delivered to or issued by the Registrar.

  • The Registrar must publish notice in the CRO Gazette of the delivery or issue of specified company documents, including certificates of incorporation, constitutions and amendments, director changes, annual returns and financial statements, registered office details, and winding-up related documents.
  • The list of notifiable items covers the full lifecycle of a company, from incorporation through to dissolution and winding up.
  • Documents relating to persons other than the board of directors who are authorised to enter into binding transactions on behalf of the company must also be published.
  • Publication must occur within 10 days of the date the relevant document was delivered to or issued by the Registrar.
