Information to be supplied to Registrar

Section 863 requires a designated court officer to notify the Registrar and the Corporate Enforcement Authority of disqualification orders, relief from disqualification, and certain related convictions within 28 days.

  • Applies when a court makes a disqualification order, grants or varies relief from disqualification, or convicts a person of a disqualification-related offence
  • A prescribed officer of the court must send the required particulars to both the Registrar and the Corporate Enforcement Authority
  • The information must be submitted in the prescribed form within 28 days of the relevant order being finalised or the conviction date
  • Covers convictions that automatically trigger disqualification as well as offences for breaching an existing disqualification order or restriction
