Other powers of court in relation to disclosure orders

Section 811 sets out the additional powers available to the court when dealing with disclosure orders, including the ability to vary or discharge such orders and to impose conditions on the shares or debentures concerned.

  • The court may discharge or vary a disclosure order where cause is shown
  • A disclosure order may be directed at a specific person, group, or class of persons
  • The court may impose time-limited conditions or restrictions on the rights or obligations attaching to shares or debentures that are the subject of the order
  • Any person whose interests are affected by such conditions or restrictions may apply to the court for full or partial relief
