Registration of insolvency judgments

Section 1421 deals with the process by which a liquidator can request that a judgment opening insolvency proceedings be registered in a public register.

• A liquidator may request registration of a judgment that opens insolvency proceedings.
• The request is made under Article 22 of the EU Insolvency Regulation.
• The request must be submitted to the Registrar of Companies.
• This provision re-enacts earlier rules from the European Communities (Corporate Insolvency) Regulations 2002.
