Particulars to be shown on all business letters of company

Section 151 sets out the information that a company must display on its business letters, order forms, and website regarding its directors and the company itself.

  • Business letters must show each director's name (or initials and surname), any former names, and nationality if not Irish
  • All business letters and order forms must state the company's legal name and form, registration details, and registered office address
  • Any reference to share capital on letters, order forms, or the company website must refer only to paid-up issued share capital
  • Non-compliance is a category 4 offence for both the company and any officer in default
