Verifications of lists of members and directors of company for purposes of registration

Section 1340 deals with how lists of members, directors, and other company particulars submitted to the Registrar must be formally verified.

  • Lists of members and directors delivered to the Registrar must be formally verified.
  • Any other required particulars about the company must also be verified.
  • Verification takes the form of a declaration made by at least two directors or other principal officers of the company.
  • This requirement applies to all information submitted under this Chapter of the Act.
