Grants to Authority

Section 944V provides for the funding of the Corporate Enforcement Authority through annual grants determined by the Minister with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.

  • The Minister may advance sums to the Corporate Enforcement Authority in each financial year.
  • The funds are drawn from moneys provided by the Oireachtas (i.e. voted public expenditure).
  • The amount to be granted is at the Minister's discretion, subject to the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.
  • There is no fixed or guaranteed amount β€” funding is determined on a year-by-year basis.
